I can see that can in a big inch motor. With 264*of duration and only. 211" @tdc I'm sure it would perform very well but I'm thinking at least 11.0-11.5 on the comp
The S&S 640 has about the same numbers and wants the same compression you mentioned, was @ 10.8 and had stupid power but wasn't worth the hot starts and engine heat. Pulled it back to stock and the Redshift 647 has faster intake valve timing and would help with the slight softness allowed by the S&S 640 but will have to think about it because it is dependable in this condition,
The more I think about this cam the more I'm leaning to putting it in ..
On another note... Remember the thread on rocker geometry, well did you know that you can order directly from AV&V in Canada specific valve stem lengths for $70 a piece.. Probably the best way to correct geometry up to a specific amount of cam lift... I'm going to look at it a little closer...
