Default Passenger floorboards

Finally had time to do 4" risers for my wife. Had to get creative to miss exhaust on left side.
She's happy, I'm happy.

Took me a moment to connect the dots...then I saw "evotrike"! Was wondering what was going on with the screws through the painted stuff.

Looks like a nice result.

What exactly did you do? Did you fab those from scratch, or did you weld in some extensions?

Used the originals, Omaha. Right side was easy, just cut and welded a 1/2"x3/4" extension. Left side was originally laying right against side of exhaust cover. Cut it, put same extentsion on, and had to do a 2 3/4" s- curve with a torch to clear the weird geometry of the pipe.
Wife is 5 ft., and her feet just reached the boards stock, and could only find 2 1/2" aftermarket.

Fortunately, harley used quality cast steel back then...easy to work with.

Thanks, 86. Been a while since I worked with iron. Felt good to make it do what I want it to again.
