Default Flhtc ignition switch removal

Okay I’m in the process of removing the inner fairing on my 1986 Electra glide. The only thing stopping me from removing it is the ignition switch. I pulled the pin and removed the top switch but can’t seam to figure out how to remove the rest of the assembly.
Any ideas?

You really need the FSM. It has all the answers.

On my 87 FLHTP there's a slotted nut that needs to be removed after the key ****. Don't have a fairing, but I can't see the Moco not using the same setup.
