Got a lot done today, front lowering springs installed, S&S air cleaner mounted, billet riser, bars tightened up, same Barnett extended throttle cables moved around to work and had to lube the crap out them because the bends changed, brake hose was ok. Installed a new Barnett clutch cable getting the trans cover off without removing the exhaust (yeh) and for the record everything fought me and was a lot of work on a Road King. Already liked the leverage of the apes over the beach bars but a road test is going to be towards the end of the week with a busy schedule after work.
Went on a feel good ride Saturday on the Glide with my Shovel buddies riding a fund raiser for local disabled vets, the old guys don't do to many pack rides but being veterans themselves it just took a phone call from them and it was drop everything and ride to honor vets, usually pulls in $8000 donation to the local disabled vets.
Keep in mind I'm 6'3" and the bars at 16" are shoulder height which is a target from friends who ride long distance with apes
