Default Indicator sockets in dash panel

1989 Softail

How do you remove the indicator sockets from the instrument panel base?

IIRC they are pressed in and out.
Thing is I couldn't find a replacement part for them when I had to do all the sockets on an '87 FXSTC recently so I replaced the whole thing with a part from Pro one.

That looks like the best way to go, all that stuff under there is 30 years old now, no sense in doing it piecemeal...

Thanks Mike.

Thanks Mike.
The whole thing comes mounted to a 1/4" piece of aluminum.
You need to cut the front piece of aluminum that has 1 hole for your front dash bolt out or your tanks will never mount.

That's a good looking piece of kit. Nothing like having fresh stuff.
