I have a buddy who has a 98 Limited and am curious if any of the Twin Cam parts like jugs and pistons will work on it?
I have a 2015 CVO that I just did the 117" kit on so I have the 110" jugs and pistons. If they would fit on his engine he was thinking about using my old parts. Also another idea was to get a twin cam engine and transmission install them on his bike. Sorry for not know anything about these bikes/engines.
That is what I thought but figured it would be better to ask and make sure.
A feature of the twincam when it was introduced is that it is a much more robust design, providing scope to increase capacity and performance during its lifetime. The Evo was only ever an 80" (although it can be custom-stretched a bit!), whereas the twincam started out life as an 88" and was progressively increased to 110", a whole 25% bigger.
