Default Performance Machine brakes

Just purchased a set for my front(dual disc) brackets have a left and a right but calipers don’t, they’ll fit but the brake line and bleed valve are on the same side, can I switch the brake line valve and bleeder valve so that on both sides the brake line will be on top

As long as both sides are the same thread pitch no problem.

They look to me as if they are ambidextrous - in other words will work for either installation, left or right. Just have to pluck up courage and remove one of them from its packaging to confirm!

Brake calipers are left and right designated.....even if they bolt up just fine.

We had a car come in the shop years ago....they put new calipers on, but could not get it to bleed properly. We messed with it and discovered they installed the calipers on wrong sides. After we swapped calipers, the bleeder valve was on top allowing air bubbles out.

Just something to think about

I would reach out to the manufacturer and ask them. I don’t think they will be able to swap sides like you want them to. If they would it would be the same part #. Why manufacture 2 different ones?

Been there and encountered that too ... They may fit either side but the bleeder screw has to be at the top ... contact PM first, but you may find that the calipers are machines so that the bleeder screw will fit ( and completely seat ) in either hole ... BTW O.P. I put a set of PM calipers on one of my scooters years ago and they were well worth the upgrade ... Good Luck

Not those...those are "universal" calipers and will work on either side...the banjo bolt and bleeder screw will work in either hole...

And the bleeder does not HAVE to be on top...if you reverse bleed they actually work better on the bottom....
