^^ On individual Runners??? Looks like a common plenum/intake manifold...from here..
You must have a damn good Grip...and certainly a 1/2 turn throttle to overcome them damn springs!!!!!
What was the MPH in the 1/4????
Aesthetically ... I prefer something like the S&S dual Throat... just because the Mikuni looks so..... Imported!!!
I ran 4 38mm Lectrons on my 76 cu in Suzuki Bandit, 11,000 RPMs 155 rwhp, 140 mph 9.7 sec quarter mile.
The Lectrons do not have a idle circuit, so it idled at around 3000 rpms

I ran a Lectron for a few years on an old 1969 I believe, Ironhead.. I don't recall the idle ckt thing... but, I used to win Money and Drinks Starting that **** in One Kick mostly outside the Bar... Good days back then!!!
I always considered the Lectron as the First Screamin Eagle, type Carb...as all the dealers pushed 'em back then..
I'm not up on injection units. Has anyone played around with direct injection systems?
Direct injection is injection directly into the cylinder not the port and requires fuel pressures in the 12000 psi range and up. Conventional EFI would be an improvement for performance and economy but I think it would also smooth out the idle somewhat, neuter it in a way.
