Carlini responded to my inquiry and said, "there will be no issue with mounting our Torque Arm with the mid controls." I'll find out this weekend.

Finally got around to grinding the Carlini Torque Arm (TA). It works. Not pretty. Used a an angle grinder at first, then a carbie bit in a cordless drill. See after the job was done, how I should have done it. Didn't care for the chrome afterwards, so used Plasti Dip on it and some other items that were chrome. Bought new chrome bolts to offset the look.

Have some questions on the shifter side as I having fitment issues with the bolt and nut. My initial thought is to try to find a half size nut and see if that works. Pictures of issue:

You shifter linkage is supposed to go n front of that splined shaft toward the outside of the bike. Also that shaft looks short to be for a Dyna height wise. I also don't think it's going to sit as far down as you're holding it

Thanks. I thought the same thing on the shaft being too short when I looked at pictures online. The part # for a Low Rider = 34621-90.

Finally got everything buttoned up and running. Believe I have it retuned good now too. Thanks to Misfit Jason for the heads up on the shifter shaft.

Went with the Vulcan Engineering shifter shaft sleeve which is metal vs. the OEM plastic. Wouldn't fit at first - oh cr*p. Lol Rolled Emory Cloth and lightly sanded (~ 45 minutes) the inside and used a little lube and it fit!

Delays as I had bought the wrong item 3x. Oh well. Great learning experience again.

While parts were off, I used PlastiDip to black out some of the chrome items to see if I would like the look (see red circled areas in pics) This also necessitated spending another $100 on chrome bolts at the hardware store.

One moto down, one to go.
