Default Front wheel question

I have a 96 Electra Glide with 16” rims. I also have an 09. I was thinking of putting the 09 front wheel on the 96. I have not started to measure or anything yet. Wanted to see if anyone had done something like this. Thanks for any responses. Marty

You're gonna have to change way more than just the wheel to get that 09 to fit your EVO.
Not worth it IMO.

It certainly requires more than just swapping wheels. That '09 wheel has larger OD rotor mounting flanges, so your brake rotors won't fit. The '09 rotors are larger in OD, so won't fit your calipers, although you could machine them down I suppose.

I have a 2010 SG front wheel in my '90 Glide, however also did a thorough forks upgrade, with later sliders, calipers, etc.

I've put a '15 wheel on my '94, it can be done but you need to work with someone who can think outside the box and not get hung up on what the parts book says. This won't be exactly what you need to do but could serve as a guide. BTW, I really like the 2 tone on the '96, nice paint job.
