Default Burnt stator.

And so this is why the battery wasn't charging! Oh well, I'll pick up another one first thing tomorrow and be up and running in time to ride over to Hooters for lunch.

You can replace it with any other stator, but I recommend Cycle Electric brand. I have one in my bike and it has been working nicely. You pay a little more, but I think they are better made.

Thats All I use in my Ultra after burning up several stators through the years. OEM will not go back in.

I'd also put a Cycle Electric R/R on it as well.

Another for Cycle Electric much better made. I've had to replace mine 3 times in 11 years, the last one was Cycle Electric and I've had no issues in 3 years. I'm not impressed with the OEM parts.

When mine goes I’ll use the C. E. 3 phase stator and VR.

My Ultra seemed to go through stators too often. Switching to the Cycle Electric 3 phase....no stator burnouts in 3 years.

My 1998 Low Rider.....stator is the original. Never a problem.
