Exclamation Bolt size/thread...

Hey gang,

Somehow lost the bolt and plate to the right rear fork that adjusts the wheel alignment on my '98 Super Glide. I have two spare plates, but not a spare bolt. It's too much of a PITA to take the other bolt out as I just got done aligning the wheel last week in the cold (I'm hoping against hope that the wheel hasn't moved since I torqued the axle back down).

Anyone have any idea the size and thread number of that bolt I need?

For any bolt size/pitch just look up the part on Ronnies and it will tell you length, size, pitch, and type of head for every bolt on your bike.

Except it seems, for these bolts, heh. All it has is they're bolts, nothing more about them, and, they don't even sell them anymore, just the plates it looks like.

I guess I get to spend Kissstmuhass and the day before, going to Fastenal and getting a stainless bolt and re-aligning the rear-end. Bleh. It's just hard for someone who's disabled with the pain in my back that I have is all and just not looking forward to *making* myself hurt, lol. Oh well, better living through pharmaceuticals!

Looks like I was wrong.
I thought Ronnies did it too but several online parts finders that I've looked at in the past had little squares around the number on the microfiche (7 in the case of the part you are looking for) and if you hovered your pointer over the square then the info on the part would show up.

IIRC a paper parts book will have the same information but you have to look it up by part number in the back of the book.

You recall right! Item seems to be 45991-92, SCREW, but my parts book is earlier, so I can't help with more details. Any member with a '93 or later bike and a parts book should be able to help. They can look it for ya while Xmas dinner is in the oven....

What parts finder did you use to find that?
