Default Led bulbs

I need some help with led bulbs.
I bought some red and some yellow bulbs to replace the old 1157s. The brake light works perfect but the signal lights light up but won’t flash.

Unfortunately that's the problem with LED bulbs in older vehicles. It's well documented. The power consumption of LEDs is much lower than filament bulbs, so the flasher unit won't trigger to flash. You can either add a module, from the likes of Badlands (there are other brands, but that is the one I use), or if your bike uses a simple auto-type flasher unit, replace it with a Badlands or similar.

Thanks for the advice. I do remember hearing something about that issue but I couldn’t remember the solution.

I added load resistors on each bulb to make them blink. A pair will run you $10 to 15. Just install them between the the bulb and the flasher. Mine are under the fender.

Any after market turn signals that have led bulbs will need a load resistor. I ordered mine from Dennis Kirk.

Not as simple to install as a bulb, but nice as well. Do they come in black?
