I went with a Bassani 2-1 exhaust. S&S super E with a thunder jet and a Dynatek 2000i ignition. All of my motor choices came from reading on the forum. Tons of good info. I'm coming off of sport bikes so I'm hoping the EV46 lets me run the revs a bit higher. I put Racetech gold valve emulators in the front and went with Hagon Nitros in the rear. Also replaced the stock swing arm cleve blocks with the CCE kit.
The 46 is a mid to top end cam. If that's where your looking for power you got it.. Good choice on the E carb.. as for the Bassani RR, I tried one on a build and actually lost power... Got rid of it and went with a supertrapp. Here are some Dyno charts with there different pipes.. the Bassani RR first then the RB Racing 2-1 LSR and last my old Python III 2-2...
Although the Bassani did well in the mid range with torque the top was strangled.. lost 11 go...

Nice.....Im gonna get another FXR someday. The 1984 FXRT was my most favorite bike I ever had....except the enclosed chain. Wish I still had it...Id convert it to belt if I still had it.

Thanks for uploading the dyno. Those are some nice numbers your bike put up. Not pumped on how the Bassani preformed. I'll have to keep an eye out for a cheap thunderheader
“Dreaded block crack”.?
First I heard of it. But I’m real short on on Evo knowledge with no personal experience other than a couple short years with modern sporties
