That's my understanding of it, i'm sure others in here know about those years and that crack.
If you go this route be aware that it will be cheaper to simply buy a 111 from S&S and put that in your bike.
In other words you will spend less money to have a 120 hp motor than you will to have a 100 hp motor.

Was motor stock that caught the crack?
I hate to think that many will fail, especially if not worked and flogged.
Rubber mount any better?

The motor was low miles 20,XXX and very clean. It came out of a softail. I can't speak to its maintenance history but I would think if your motor is 20+ years old and hasn't cracked yet you are probably good.

Im looking to upgrade the front brakes. Front end is a dual disk 39mm narrow glide. I can run stock, Ramjet adapters with touring Brembo's, or SK adapters with Tokico calipers. Anyone have any experience or recommendations? Interested to hear if its a big improvement over stock? Thanks

I have the brembo dual hydraulic hand controlls and "joker" bilit trap door actuator if you want a easy pull with new controlls. I sold my 91 that I had planned to use them on.

Motor should be in this weekend. Any recommendations on where to start with jetting on the S&S Super E. I'm at 620' elevation.

That elevation ain't going to amount to any change.. a .0295 intermediate and a .072 main. Did you do anything to the combustion chambers in the head? Less CC's? And yes a thunder header would be better for that build..
