I bought this 1999 FXSTC recently. It's got 24,000 miles on the original engine/transmission. Screaming Eagle heads, an Andrews EV27 cam, and BDL open primary. Did a little research on the paint which appears to be a numbered set (100/100) BUT I don't ever remember any factory paint sets being stretched? I actually found an article with the EXACT paint scheme online, but they weren't stretched. Anyway, I was looking for a cheap (I paid $2000.00) bike to tinker with; well I rode this one home! Plan on a solid rear wheel, spoke front wheel, and 20" apehangers.
Since you are planning on changing wheels what are your plans for the wheels that are on it now?
