I bought a set of lowers last fall , HD, but don't know what year, similar to the ones linked.
They seem to fit fine but I seem to be missing the top mounting hardware. There is a single thru hole for each side.
Looking at the diagrams I can find they all seem to have 2 mounting holes, so there must be some other mount set up I can't find a picture of.
Anyone know?
98 will have the u bolt up top and a rubber coated circular clamp to go around the bottom of the crash bar. then the cover goes on with the 4 screws to cover the u bolt.
FWIW, I bought a set of quick release hardware for mine that worked well. They came off a '06 and I put them on my '94, the set consists of 2 ***** with studs for the upper fasteners and a split ring and **** for the lower mount. I can install them in under 2 minutes per side, it's a nice option if you don't keep them on year round.
If I remember correctly the 2 studs are held in a place with a V shaped clip on the outer cover. I'm packing the garage to move but if I see them I'll try to get some pics, My old hardware is packed in a storage unit or I'd offer them to you.

I have the lower mount "rubber coated circular clamp".
But a U bolt wouldn't work at the top as there is only one hole through the fairing, not two, so it must be something different I think.

I have the same hardware on my lowers too. Its nice to be able to remove them quickly for maintenance or warm weather.
Those Lowers in the description are slightly different from whats on my 98 Ultra. They look more like the ones on the 2005 up.
These are on my 1998 Ultra....the ones on Ebay has a few extra holes for some reason. The mounting are basically the same. They just look a little different to me....which I believe are 2005-up.
