Good morning guys, new to the forum! the Touring guys kicked me out over there, they said i'd have better luck with ya'll, lol, ( not really, they said to check here, you guys would have the answers....) My issue is the radio controls on the bars quit working, on the right side only. The rears and volume still function fine. are there any fuses for these components? cant find any behind the fairing. Took the controls apart to inspect switch, which seemed fine. Probably need to start chasing wires, but was hoping for easier solutions first. Thanks for any direction!
so you're saying all the controls on the radio itself work for everything, it's just the controls on the right hand side on the bar don't work? Time to check switches and wiring.. an ohm meter and schematic should get you there..
I feel for ya. Wiring is my nemesis, i could have all the electrical checkers (ohm meters and whatever) but I wouldn't know what to do with them because I don't know how to use them to diagnose. Hopefully someone here will help guide you a bit further.
Thanks guys, that was what i was thinking needed to be done, was hoping for an easier solution like a fuse, haha, (well i could find a dozen things do do first before wanting to doing electrical work) i suppose now thats its opened up, i should replace the old tape deck with something nicer! it appears that the 95's options foe plug and play stereos are somewhat limited.

Biketronic makes a Retro kit for the '94-95 models. The BT1006X kit works with JVC, Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, Clarion, Dual, and Sony to allow the hand controls to be used. I've had one for about 15 years, it failed after being a a torrential downpour and they stood behind their lifetime warranty.
