Baffles broke loose baffles in a muffler? Check and make sure you mufflers are tight and the rubber damper at the back mounting bracket is there and in good shape. Kick stand hitting the frame like stated? Start simple before you dive *** deep into it.

Shocks are 2 1/2 year old Progressive 422 Heavy Duty. For $450 they ought to last more than 2 years.
You'd think so but anything can go bad at any time.
I put some KYB struts on my mothers car and it took about 6 months for the right one to start popping and the left one lasted about a year.
Try to time hitting the bump. See if the noise happens as the front hits or does it happen as the rear hits.
Kinda tricky I know but have used this to help isolate noises many times.
1/2 dozen could be's, you'll just have to do the time in to find out which it is. This is like asking a doctor over the phone what kind clap you caught from a hooker in Thailand..
In all seriousness I'd check the shock mounting bolts to see if one is loosening up, that will give you a hard knock.
Shock bolts are tight as turtle *****. I asked because I thought somebody must have experienced the same issue somewhere back in time and would know what they did to fix it.

I replaced them when I pulled the swing arm to fix the broken shock bolt a couple of months ago.

Sounds like a hammer hitting metal. I can feel it under me. Actually it sounds a lot like when the shock bolt broke and the shock was flopping on one end. But the bolts are good now.
I still think it's your swingarm bottoming out on the bushing just behind the battery.. Did you check all that and how much do you weigh, it's very possible you're loading the entire suspension on the rear. I know with me and my wife on the bike that's still only 280 lb and we bottom out at times.. depending on the size of the dip or bump..
That bike has the rubber bumper on the kickstand not the primary.
The stand never had a bumper on it before but I put one on and it didn't help

I'm not a little guy so I bought the Progressive 422-4002C Heavy Duty shocks. It's not dips, bumps or even speed humps which I can take a little faster than normal without bottoming out. It's the smaller, shallow defects in the road surface at slower speeds that produce the noise.
I think I may have found the problem though. I noticed that my rear brake pedal was a little loose and rattling so I tightened it up and I didn't notice the noise so we'll see.
