Hi guys so over the winter i have redoing the topend on my evo tore it down found out it was bored .10 over with 10.1 pistons S&S rods so i got to the heads cleaned them up went to install new valve seals and it has over brass sized valve guides in it . So the seals i bought do not fit how do I know what ones to get now
Just a wild guess - possibly Kibblewhite bronze manganese guides. If you don't know or can't find out who did the previous head work, measure the od of the tops (seal surface) and check their website or give them a call. If all else fails, you can buy the tool and turn them down to .420 like stock.

The outside diameter of the guides are oversized? If yes, its most likely a standard oversize ( 0.500 or 0.625") that they make a PC type seal for. Bring the heads inn and they'll find what you need..
Well i ordered some from KIBBLEWHITE PRECISION
71045-4 Seal, Red Viton, 5/16" Stem x 0.530" Guide Seal Detail, Various HDŽ Applications
See if it works out lol
does not necessarily mean it is a stroker, but may want to investigate
For some time (awhile back) we built stock engines with S&S rods (Not Supremes) good choice, back then anyway..
