Default Help identifying wire

Hey guys I’m just about done putting my bike all together I got the carb back on today and was about to put the tank on and I see this wire hanging. I can’t for the life of me figure out where it goes. Does it go on the carb ? I don’t remember taking off but then again this has been a few month project lol. I’ve attached some photos. The one is the wire it’s the purple wire and it clips to something but I can figure where. The other pic I circled where the wire comes from. I’m guessing it’s part of the ignition somehow.

It should be connected to the VOES switch which, is originally mounted where the cross brace between the heads (on the horn side), top link-to-frame and horn bracket join. Sorta above/behind the choke ****. You don't yet have any of that installed according to the photos posted...

You're welcome. The pieces you need to find will be a heavy metal bar that attaches to the heads shown by the red drawing and the horn/choke bracket bolts on top of it with the bolt under the yellow arrow. The voes and it's bracket will attach under all that to the same bolt (yellow arrow) that is running thru the top link. The voes will also have a vacuum line connecting to the carb.
My artwork is as bad as my carpentry, so laugh all you want, I usually do

Your VOES may well be below your horn, if you lift it up it to where it will eventually fit.
