Second lifter from right showing wear on roller. Are those new? I would caution on running generic lifters. Any known brand name lifters would do. I trust Hylift-Johnson lifters. Moreover, I like the ones AMS MotoMachine & Supply in Fort Worth, TX. sells, because they take Johnson lifters apart and check for clearances and only keep the best ones to sell to customers. I also had original Harley B lifters, and they were good. That is my personal experience with lifters. Good luck.

I also felt the the B lifters were good.. However I use S$S.. for modified motors.. I as well will not use a used or a no name lifter.. To much at stake..

theyre used. Pulled from a bike with 55k but they have to be newer considering they came from an engine with adjustable pushrods... I may just have to go SBC lifters if these are garbage.

Just because someone changed pushrods doesn't necessarily mean they changed lifters.
Personally I wouldn't use used lifters. JMO

I also wouldn't do SBC lifters. They're oil port is a lot smaller than a Harley lifter and take way to long to pump up or even lubricate the top end leading to more wear and noise sooner.. but hey it's your motor..

disassemble and drill port with 1/8” (.125”) bit... same as s&s high rpm MELLING JB 2079 is a little smaller than .062” ports out of the box
