Default Quick question on swingarm

Any tips or tricks to removing these swingarm cleveblocks/mounts off a 98 Road King without a press?

They have to come out toward the outboard side.

A socket, long extension (or hex bar) a big freaking hammer and patience.

Take your belt guard off before you start, you'll be glad you did.

Which bearing or bushing kit are you going back with, if I may ask?

5/8" all thread long enough to go completely through with about 4" extra sticking out and a couple large washers for the outside of the swingarm to pull against. Find somebody to weld a nut on one end of the all thread, PB blaster or Kroil the crap out things and get busy. Impact helps or just go old school and strong arm it. No chance of dinging stuff with a hammer beating the **** out of it.

You pull the new ones back in the same way.

Thanks fellas, ended up getting a fake tool store hydraulic press...they were stuck in there pretty damn hard after 22 years
Went with the V Twin Manufacturers spherical bearing kit, will give my review of it once done...doing the ev13 cam too.
