Locktite wouldn't have helped in my case. The bolts sheared right off. I did use locktite when I put the new ones on. This is now added to the pre ride check.
The bolt probably sheared because it had gotten loose.
I am in agreement with the idea of loosening all motor and transmission mount hardware and re torquing.
I just did that process on my `89 Softail, I thought I had a new vibration, but I now think it may have just been a noisy helmet that resonates at low engine RPM (maybe my head resonates...).
