Maybe I'll just have to put everything to what I've read 1.5 turns, adjust tps, and start looking for a decent price known working ets to see if it makes the difference before I spend 100 buks on a new one
Regards to the ETS.....I usually get about two years out of one with a high idle to go along with it. Plus, check engine light never comes on when this part fails.
Ive searched everywhere for a cross reference of this part. So far, this part is ONLY available from Harley.
There's a member IM who has posted in many threads regarding MM EFI. Seems to be very knowledgeable about the subject. You might search some of his posts or send him a PM.
I've read all the posts I could find on the air bleed screws, got some questions so I may better understand, all that I can find says 1.5 turns from lightly seated. But from the factory sealed mine were like 3 full turns out. I guess I just want clarity. I've done a lot of work to the bike to get it running decent, upgraded ECM and tune, red injectors, exhaust, intake and filter. I have a small stumble at idle and I know as bad for it as it is, I can't blip the throttle. That's where it had a slight stumble, other than that bike pulls hard.
My 1996 Ultra Classic manual has nothing about bleeder screws on the M&M system
Before I adjusted the TPS on my EVO, it would eat ETS sensors like candy. I figure that the engine was running a little too lean before I made the adjustment and the extra heat may have been breaking them down. Just a theory.
Anyway, I've bought several over the years and Ronnie's HD is about the cheapest. Try and get one for about $75.
I had to do it with the ECM change and injector swap. But again I was hoping to pick up a cheap spare for testing and what not them but a new one, and they are now about 85 plush shipping and handling from Ronnie's, also all that I've read on here states that you should adjust bleeder screws before even attempting to set tps and hot and cold idle
