Default Rear wheel install

All, I’m having issues with an install of my rear wheel on a 97 road king.
I had some new tires put on and after reinstalling my rear wheel, the sprocket rubs on the swing arm once the nut gets anywhere close to torqued.

The wheel is aligned, when checked at 15 or so ft/lbs, larger wheel spacer is on belt side. I’m at a loss I’m assuming it’s a simple solution that I just can’t see.

thanks

That was my thought too. Are the inner spacers same size? Thought they had same part number?

Looking at the fiche, it looks as though there should be 2 “spacers” outside the wheel on the left? I can’t seem to wrap my head around it.... damn concussions

You have 2 spacers that are the same size, one on each side, they go up against the bearing inner race.

The left side has an additional spacer that goes outside of the first spacer.

You are missing one of the spacers.

Unless you took the inner spacers out of the seals before the trip to the tire store, good chance one of your spacers in on their floor, or in whatever vehicle you drove there...

And you should ALWAYS service wheel bearings before installation, after changing a tire

???????????
There are the 2 that fit into the seals, long one on the pulley side and the caliper mount is the spacer for the right side. What's this smaller outer you mention?

If it's a thin, stepped washer looking thing, that goes between the inner bearing spacer and a bearing.

Did you take the wheel bearings out?

I didn’t take the bearings out. The bike isn’t in front of me right now. I’ll take some photos when I get home.
