I love the performance of the 13.Comes on right at the beginning and pulls easily to 4K.The Ultimate ignition makes it start immediately also. And my bike is just a little heavier than a heritage. Also pulls easily w/2 up.

This would be something I can throw on in 5 minutes while I'm waiting for cam replacement parts list.
Tomorrow tomorrow I'm going to call the dealer and see how bad the sticker shock is for ignition modules.
Do not run any other Sportster module. Get your cam installed you'll be smiling enough from it.

Ignition modules were $269 each. Screaming eagles were discontinued for 95 Fatboy. 269 was a standard ignition module. Ordered all the cam supplies today.

I think the sportster ignition module made it run a little better. Installed the EV13 CAM put the 04 heritage oem exhaust on, way too quiet, probably too much back pressure also. Put the long shots back on and now looking for baffles.

I took out an EV13 a couple years ago and put in an EV27 in my softail. I prefer the EV13. With the 27 and stock compression you have to rev the **** out of it to really get into the power band. On a rubber mounted bike that is fine, but on an old shaker softail, it's not fun when the mirrors shake so bad they turn in a circle. I'm going to throw a 13 back in it this winter. Put a Mikuni easy kit on the bike, that will make it feel alot faster too.

Interesting!!! Why did you skip the EV-23...or why not at least try the early "L" Cam... [sort of an original EV-23, except for lift numbers]
Curious...

I put about 50 mi on it yesterday. Seemed to have a little more power check all the bolts everything still tight, no leaks. Probably should have done more research ev23 might be okay. I have 46 and 180 Jets going to put some miles on and check the plugs.

Big City thunder baffles installed. Sounds pretty good can't wait to go for a ride. I'm going to try and make a video with sound.

That's a fine looking motorcycle, right there. We don't talk about it enough, but the MoCo had some awesome paint colors back in the Evo era.
