Default Transmission Question

I found this H-D transmission going through my dad's stuff and it looks brand new. Visually, looks like my Fatboy EVO transmission but the serial number is 02077307. With the first two numbers representing the year it was made 02' = 2002, it throws me off (I think EVOs ended in 1999 or 2000?). I'm not sure what the other numbers mean either and neither did the H-D rep. Had no real luck with the web either. Any idea?

Thanks.

Thanks man! Didn't know that. I thought with the Fathead introduction the transmission changed as well. Thanks again.....

The guts will bolt into Evo five speed cases too. It's a common upgrade and cheaper than rebuilding an old box. Your box has a better shift drum too.
