Mikuni HSR42

No I`m talking about the roller bearings of the HSR......I am somewhat stunned people think Mikuni is selling thousands of their carburetors for years as described in the ads above, and they could still today get away with selling them without the rollers and cheating everyone... ?

Well...ok...why not, Lectron is saying their carbs have a "idle system".... go search for it......I did....but "system" is a flexible term...

BUT .... different on the Mik... .. the throttle valve is guided by eight rollers as they say ....
....My best guess is you did not see bearings on parts you had removed, or just did not look for some... they are not on the throttle valve or loose parts like ***** falling out when disassembling or so, maybe that`s why you did not note them....
....you are not able to spot the roller bearings from outside.......it would need a full disassembly...
The roller bearings are part of the body (not part of the throttle valve) , more exact one part of the body - it`s # TM42/06 on that fish.... you can only spot the rollers on the fish drawing if you know how they look in flesh....
...when disassembling the carb like for cleaning, you don`t split the body usually.....
