Doing a full drame off restoration on my dads 92 FXRS. Its almost done but have a hangup on the electrical, particularly turn signals. Everything was removed from the frame for sand blasting and paint so turn signal wiring was cut and reconnected by soldering and shrink wrap. Able to trace power to rear turn signal socket, heres the challenge:
Turn signals are original with brand new bulbs. With rear bulbs in the lamps, when pressing the turn signal buttons, nothing happens and the indicator lights on dash dont turn on. With the rear bulbs removed, pressing turn signal buttons causes front bulbs to light up, indicator light turns on but does not flash, then I insert rear bulbs and indicator light turns off and it repeats.
