unfortunately I’m not a wiring geek.

Close but my bikes are 94 and 95 respectively and my Badlands came with amp connectors that I had to wire so that if I wanted to I could simply disconnect the connectors on the Badlands and reconnect the connectors on the wiring harness.

The wiring isn't hard.
