Hs anyone done the research? My bike has a Bosch H4 upgrade. I think that they draw a horrendous amount of power but certainly are bright. I rarely/never ride at night so I would like to replace with an LED motor cycle designated lamp so that the power draw would be substantially less. I don't need a any fancy blue unit or the kuryaken blue tooth thing that changes color from [I assume] your phone. Just a standard headlamp and possibly the two driving/passing lights. The would be industry standard G.E. or otherwise lamp part #'s would be great.
Thanks, Frank
I bought this for my Dyna from Amazon and must say I like it a lot.... Click the link..

I put the cheap set off of flebay ,they are the best and only were a hundred bucks for the headlight and spots..
What size headlight do you need? I have a couple 7 inchers that I have no use for anymore. If 7 is what you are after id be willing to send you one free o' charge so you can give it a shot
That is a very generous offer. I have been riding Superguides for many years hence my screen name and still have my Twin cam. I recently purchased a sweet 1991 Ultra for which the headlamp is for.
+1 on the Trucklites. I replaced the stock sealed beam spots with halogens over ten years ago. About five years ago I replaced the spots with Trucklite LEDs, and then finally dumped my HID headlamp (which was my first solution to replace the unsatisfactory halogen) for the Trucklite LED headlamp a year ago. More light, less current draw, plug and play. What's not to like? Get all three - headlamp and two spots and maybe you will be able to enjoy riding at night.

The reason that I rarely ride at night anymore is because I'm usually in bed by then now days.
I used to love riding on a warm night on the highway, coming into the lights of the city or town .....
Cheap LED lamp sets for Ultra Classic on Amazon. Any good?
I am looking to replace my stock headlamps for my 2013 Ultra Limited. I am not going to pay 800 bucks from HD to do this. I see all these no-name headlamps sets anywhere from $75 to $150 or so on Amazon. Something like the image below. Any idea how good these are and do they fit well?
