Default My winter project; ‘99 Fatboy

This came to me in rough shape, I spent a lot of time with an impact driver.

I finished her up and Tuesday and took her for a 100 mile jaunt Wednesday. She pulls like a mule and cruises at 80 without breaking a sweat!

I still need some rear turn signals, but other than that it’s done and done. I’m not sure how much it will get ridden I’ve got a ‘97 RK that will get most of my miles... but she’s fun to scoot around on.

Thank you to everyone that answered my questions, provided input and information. I couldn’t have done it without your guidance.

What front turn signals are those? And are there matching rears?

I found the front turns in a local Indy shop, the matching ones fir the back require drilling through the struts, frame and fender for where I want to mount them.

I found some small round jimmies for 12 bucks at the local hardware store. I want to mount them using the strut bolt holes right behind the seat, but I need to find someone to drill a passage for the wires through the bolt and cut the threads down on the end of the bolt to fit the light.
