Rusty tools PSA

So it's been super hot and humid down here in Dixie. I was doing some work in my shop this morning and was startled to see a few of my tools had surface rust on them. I scrubbed them off with a scotchbrite pad then wiped them down with Johnson's paste wax.

If you haven't been out in your shop lately, you might want to take a peek at your tools.

I like to give them a light coat of WD 40 every once in a while.

GIBBS baby! Spray them down, wipe them off and leave them out in the rain if you want. They won't rust.

If they get really bad get a can of Evaporust. That stuff works great at cleaning up and removing rust from old tools. It will also break down and free up old pliers found in a junkyard.
