Hey guys, I need some help on the steps of installing a new transmission! I dont have a manual which would be coming in hand right about now but I have you guys which is even better 😬

got the transmission sitting in the frame but having trouble getting it straight with the motor and then the swing arm. I know there has to certain steps to get this to work. Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Not being a smartass here, but...It`s not like you are just doing one small job and need a little tech info...
Why don`t you just break down and buy a service manual?

Look at that...between the 2 of us we fixed an unknown oil leak of 30 years and got a transmission installed...lol.
To the Original Poster......lots of help here, and a little smart-assery but at the very minimum we need to know what year you are working on, the FXR part we can figure out.
