i have a 89 harley electraglide sport and the only problem with it is the metal double locking gas cap is junk and i can not find one anywhere is there any other option other than replacing the tank with a newer style one?
A Stant 10646 fits the pre- '89 tanks and is 1-3/8" on the neck. They do not have the extended ears and I don't know if the cam depth is correct. But for about 8.00 you could try one. Most auto parts stores either have, or can get them overnight.
