I'll be back in the shop on Tuesday, I know we have 1 side with the top 2 buttons and the turn switch only, no toggle switch or radio control - don't remember which side though.. We also have a trailer outside with some parts that I haven't looked at yet. If that sounds like what you're looking for I'll get some pics and post them.
Call me at the shop 10-4 MT time - 605-574-2273. BTW that PTT button on the left can be wired up to a garage door opener, it's a nice use for the switch. Find the two points inside the opener on the circuit board and solder the wires from the rocker switch, then the opener gets velcro'd under the fairing, .
So I'm wanting to do away with the coms button and the volume control and just have a 3 switch panel on the left and a 3 switch panel on the right I may try and keep my cruise set button but if not will relocate to the inner fairing. Has anyone else ever did such? I think the cruise part will work if the housing match up.
Well because it's my father in laws old bike I'm not going to go crazy on it. I'm going to stay close to original status, but want to do a few things to make it, more me. I may not ever put one on it,21" wheel but I'm not a chrome person either. If it don't work or I don't feel it's necessary it's got to go. Cb and coms stuff, gone, radio up grade, cause the old one didn't work correctly. I pushed the handle bars as far forward as I can and it feels better to me. Right now my agenda is switch housings, add 2 more speakers to the front fairing, repair or purchase a new seat, switch all lighting to led, brake job and the just ride and enjoy. I'll remove the lower fairing in the hot months and reinstall it in the cooler ones. Thanks t150vej it is a beautiful bike, and rides pretty good to.
