They don't seem to appear in the parts catalog, just the japan transmission decal, so it's difficult if there is no reference part number, anyway I don't think you could find a fresh new decal like that outside Harley, I don't think any aftermarket has ever manufactured them as I think is strange that someone wants that specific decal.
I'm curious why are you looking to find one? My bike still has that decal on the swingarm, it could be interesting to restore a bike full like factory, new swingarm decal and new Union Workers/Made in USA decal if original is missing or scratched.
It would be nice to have a factory decal i can show the police if i ever was pulled over and they messeured the noise (db) level on the bike.
The nicest reply I can come up with as a direct reaction is WTF
You obviously have aftermarket exhausts. What the hell does an OEM decal have to do with anything?
Additionally, unless you are riding like a jackass, revving the **** out of a straight pipe bike at 0200 in a quiet subdivision, police arent going to harass you or even pay attention to you. If you are doing that, no decal is going to save you.
He wants to put that decal on because it says the exhaust was tested and the noise level is approximately 93 db. He's betting on the fact that if the cops press him for loud pipes he can show them that decal and wear his best Sunday go to meetin' golden halo as they tell him to have a nice day.
My EVO has stage I pipes from HD with a nice message stamped underneath saying they aren't street legal. I haven't been pulled over yet so I don't know what might happen. Compared to other bikes around here, I'm still amateur hour.
I see you are in Denmark. All bets are off them. Most of us here are in the USA and dont deal with that nonsense.
I noticed that and thought what a strange feeling, I live in Europe too but another country and police here where I live never never never loses time measuring your exhaust noise, furthermore if they think you are too loud and suspects your bike is exhaust modded they just put you a ticket and make some photos to your exhaust as preventive evidence for a case you decide to claim it to not pay so you cannot put stock exhaust back, I have seen some videos of American police doing noise measurements on the road, maybe it's more common in some states and less in others.
