Default Push rod question

Another top end question. Just installed the front rocker box assembly on my 96 evo.i used the stock pushrods. The lifters are new.I took my time letting the lifters bleed down. Rocker box is now torqued to specs. What im finding is that both pushrods spin freely but there is a definate "tight spot" or "flat spot" where it kind of binds when i spin it.It is present in the rear intake rod is well but it is very slight.I triple checked i had the correct rods in the correct spot.I also lubed the ball ends during assembly. Is this normal? My first rebuild.

Yes, normal. The rocker arm sockets wear in an elliptical pattern and the rods tips will as well, though only slightly. (impossible to measure) They will find their respective "happy place" so no worries.

If they are stock, push rods are non adjustable. Adjustable pushrods are always aftermarket.
