Default OEM Evo spring retainers?

Hi,
Doing a freshen up of the top end and pulled rocker covers off and saw these valve spring retainers, are these factory OEM ones?
Just asking as haven't seen any that look like these before.
The top end has been off before but to my knowledge and previous owners, it has only had higher compression pistons fitted, an EV3 cam and adj push rods.
Bike is an 85 FXWG if that makes any difference?

It's been a lot of years since I was working on them and I got out of it in 1993.
That said, I don't recall seeing anything like that before.

Don't look like the ones I found on my virgin 1994. Less weight must be faster...

EV 3 was the go to back in the day.. Spring retainers are not stock and at this point would assume headwork was done as well.. I'll bet it's goes pretty good.. If you plan on Channing the configuration of the motor any I would get the heads cc'd to know where you stand.. What's the bore and dome volume of the Pistons? Also what carburetor you running?

What's impressive is that who ever did the rebuild used all grade 8 hardware.. nice...

Back when I went to MMI they gave us a formula for determining cubic inches. I remember it was, bore X bore X stroke X ? Do you happen to know that number?
I think it was .76xx but don’t remember the last two digits.
Does anyone know what the are?

It did go pretty well last time I rode it TBH but had been sitting for a while and cosmetically it isn't that flash unfortunately.
Was planning to get the heads CC'd and seats/valves redone at the minimum, haven't removed heads yet so unsure of pistons, that will be next weekends job hopefully.
Carbi was an Andrews flow master on an S&S manifold but am going to try a CV and cleaned up/polished standard manifold.

The fella that built it was factory trained in America and moved out here to Australia but is no longer with us. He used to tinker on a lot of HD's in his spare time. Previous owner had known him for years after meeting through one of the clubs.

I would keep the manifold and go with an S&S E... The builder was thinking more about keeping the velocity of the air flow..EV3 is a 3000-6000 rpm cam and velocity is the key.. What exhaust are you running..

I have a set of turbo tapers and a set of stock head pipes with SE tapered mufflers, not sure which way I will go yet. It was running the turbo tapers.
