1991 Sturgis Solid

Any info on these. From what I’ve found so far they only made them one year. Are they good bikes? I know it looks awesome.

Any year Sturgis Model is very collectable, the closer to bone stock with numbers matching engine cases the more they are usually worth. This one has had some modifications, carb and exhaust to mention a few. With that said, in terms of dependability, the1991 year engine cases are know to have problems, studs pulling out of the cases and left side bearing raceinserts breaking loose. This bike looks like someone has been in the engine at some point in the past because the cases should be Black, these cases are bare aluminum.

They are desirable bikes and future collectibles. But that one is not the one I would start with, look around for a bike that is as stock as possible.
