Default 96 fxsts

Just brought home a 96 FXSTS. Love this thing. Other than exhaust and an Andrews EV46 cam, it appears to be stock. Can be hard starting sometimes so probably needs a tune up I'm sure.

Congrats! Have one just like it. Mine is all original in the same condition. General maintenance is a breeze. Use the "O" ring on the derby cover. The newer seals seem to always seep on mine for some reason. Get a FSM, it will be your best bet. Neck bearings can be a weak point, so rotate the position of the front wheel when it sets for a bit. The bike overall is easy to work on, so that isn't an issue. Good luck.

For sure. Already loaded up on the manuals lol. Been reading about tuning the carb some. It has a Mikuni HSR on it and never messed with that. Found a receipt from 2014 and it had a top end rebuild at 14k miles. Other than that just trying to check it out and make sure its serviced and ready to go.
