Default Tank lift?

Anybody here know of a kit source to lift the gas tanks on a softail?
I've done a quick and dirty internet search and have found nothing.
If not, has anyone done it themselves and if so, how'd it turn out.
In theory, it seems to me to be pretty straight forward to make your own but I am often way off base when I think something is going to be simple or straight forward.

DK Customs had a kit for the split tank in test production but has dropped it do to end user issues.
I had one, it didn't come with the new spacers or longer bolts for the dash panel plate.
I removed it because I lost the use of about a gallon of gas because the angle was to much for gas to flow through the
crossover tube and the petcock being center of the left tank prevented gas from flowing once it settled in the tail piece.
Make sense? It's early and I'm foggy.
Basically I'd wind up with fuel in the right tank below the crossover tube and fuel in the left tank below the usable height to flow through the petcock.
Plus I did notice a weight shift imbalance around corners.

Thanks for your insight.
You did address a couple of my concerns.
Much appreciated.

before

after picture a level line horizontal on the bottom of the tank from the crossover to the seat, that's gas you can't use.
Sorry the pictures are so big.

Was thinking about just fabbing one myself but front and rear lift. But the back tank lift would be a pita due to the seat.
. Never can get enough air to an ecvo. Oil coolers are minimal help. Can't afford the fans. Ken

There's plenty of room in front of the seat to lift the rear too but it won't look right, the tank would be higher than the seat nose.
Its just a matter of longer bolts and spacers.
It's the bolts and spacers you have to get right for the dash base that's a PITA.
I bought hollow aluminum tubing from Home Depot and 3" bolts to get the base panel to sit right.
The front brackets are tabs with welded nuts on 1 end and open holes on the other with slight offsets for spacing off the frame.
The rear bolts the tanks from pivoting back and forth.

I was thinking maybe moving the petcock back to the rear of the left tank and put one on the rear of the right with a a T to feed both sides at the same time to the carb.
I have no problems with heat on my bike, if anything, it runs to damn cool.
As far as the tank being higher than the seat nose, I am sooner or later going to go with tractor style spring solo seat so should be able to position it just about anywhere I'd like.
