Yeah, thanks for the info. It came with the quick connect windscreen and bags. I couldn't stand the windscreen, but I will use the bags; just need a good cleaning. I'll look at those motor mounts eventually, just waiting for some decent weather to check it out further. Oh, yeah, GO NAVY! "75/'80, USS Bigelow DD942, GMG2.
Yeah, I had a '79 Electra Glide and a "84 Wide Glide, both good runners. Had a '01 FLHTCUI with the 88" motor, it was sweet, but personal matters forced a sale. Next was the '08 Crossbones, a cool *** bike, but ya couldn't carry anything. The fat tire bikes were getting heavier and heavier, so I decided to search out a Dyna, but I wanted the EVO, since I never rode one before, and this one popped up. I watched it for like 5 weeks, and finally decided that if no one else was gonna buy it, I would. The VIN# has five numbers that exactly match the first five of my SSN, so I thanked the guy for takin' such good care of MY bike.
Three years ago I picked up my 1998 FXD-conv from the original owner. Only had 7000 miles on it! It is a great bike, and has over 10k on it now. He gave me the (unused) windshield, I installed it, rode to Florida and then hung it on the wall down there, where it will probably stay for another 20 years. Good luck with yours!

I know those windshields are just about the ugliest thing HD ever hung on a bike, but they work REALLY well. I hated mine as soon as I saw it, but I gave it a try and ended up leaving it on. Other than my old Electra Glide with a full-size windshield and a fairing, I've never had a windshield with better wind/rain protection.
Plus, those windshields and the original bags are getting harder and harder to find. Take a look at them on Ebay. An original windshield or original bags in good condition are selling for pretty good money.
By the way, the windshield has a coating on it that is easily ruined. Be careful what you use to clean it.
