Rebuilding aftermarket starter solenoid.... is there supposed to be a spring and ball bearing on the starter solenoid plunger. I thing ball bearing goes in pocket then spring then plunger.
The ball is OEM part# 8879 and they're found all over ebay and aftermarket sources. I never measured one but 11/32" is the size stated. Word of caution - they usually stay in the bore of the shaft. If you end up with 2 ***** in there, it won't work.
