Called my local stealership to get some new throttle cables, as usual don't carry them they are no longer available.
So what's a good replacement?
DS, Barrnett, etc...
It has burly brand 7" rise drag bars, and the stock ones worked okay, don't like the way I had to route them to work, any suggestions? Stock is 30 inches and go over the top of triple tree.
Also used a deuce brake line, so maybe a deuce throttle cable would work?
I run mine along the neck and thru the triple trees as in the photo. As long as they don't bind, and aren't so long to be nonadjustable or a hazard run 'em. Mine are actually a little too long, but I'll change them out over the winter.
Not sure how your set up will affect length, but plenty of choices below. I recently purchased an OEM looking clutch cable (black vinyl) that was the drag specialties brand and the quality seemed to be equal to the oem.
Would start with measuring your cables, since may not be stock lengths if the bars where change out, or may have a plan to re-route the cables differently and would need different lengths instead.
