Leaks - Transmission
External, underneath and to the brake side. Got fluid on the exhaust, rear wheel and foot peg. Have drips right in front of rear on floor.
Disappointed that the second video does not show the install of the small wedding band main shaft seal (12035-B) as that one is slightly recessed and is a little bit of a fiddle with the shaft in place. If I remember correctly, I used PVC pipe to press/tap that one in. Had to slightly taper the pvc pipe for it to fit in the recess and measured depth often. I don't like how the third video used a metal punch to drive the seal in a little deeper. He could have used a backing washer or tapered the pvc pipe a little in order to seat the seal slightly recessed. Sorry can't remember the depth required for that seal but it ain't much.

Overall and look at about the 4 minute mark on this vid regarding the main-shaft wedding band seal:
Need to check off each item below:
34901-94C Primary Outer Cover Gasket
11147 O-Ring, Housing Cover-always use a new one (and hylomar is our friend when installing but not necessary)
33318-85 Locking Tabs for inner primary bolts (5) don't forget silicone sealer on the back side of the inner primary in the appropriate places where the inner primary bolts pass thru to the engine and trans
33126-94 Lockplate for starter jackshaft
11165 Quad Seal (hylomar is our friend when installing but not necessary)
12067B Oil Seal
34091-85A Race, Inner, Bearing
12052A Oil Seal
9135 Bearing, Inner Primary
12066A Oil Seal, Starter Shaft
12035B Oil Seal, Mainshaft, 5th Gear (wedding band seal)
33344-94 Spacer, Sprocket (this is the later improved spacer-needs to match front pulley/sprocket-always use a new one if any miles on it, I like the Baker version as it is hardened more than OEM)
12045 Seal, Shifter Shaft
Starter jackshaft thrust washer- (part number varies based on year/model but if the little bit of rubber on the thrust washer is old it can leak and again hylomar is our friend with this one)

I think I installed the 5th gear seal backwards. The other I don't believe I oiled them before install.
Spacer was reused.

1) There was still transmission fluid...so I think when I replace the backwards 5th Gear seal, it should be ok.
I tightened the bolts for the transmission cover as they were loose.
2) Screws holding adjuster for the primary chain - 1 was loose and the other apparently was stuck to the drain plug.
Do you use blue loctite to secure the screws? Or flat head socket screws? I'm leaning towards the flat head socket screws as I can tighten those much better.
3) Oil leaks - See pictures of oil on exhaust pipe. I reinstalled an exhaust bracket bolt behind the clutch cable as I didn't do that the first time.
Any suggestions?

Look at those bolt holes. On my Dyna the hole pass clean thru the inner primary so silicone sealer on the backside of inner primary at the bolts is a good idea. This is how they came from the factory.
Good and tight with a proper fitting hand screwdriver is fine if using loctite but tapered socket caps bolt are fine also. A hand impact to set the Phillips head style bolts works great. Still use blue loctite.
The oil on the pipes looks likes its time for a new trans top cover gasket. Especially if you found lose bolts but could see if tightening helps. Use foamette style gasket if replacing.

Attached pictures of a new seal and the current seal with ~ 600 miles on it. It was dry to the touch.
It appears the main issue is oil leaking...might be an oil hose (going to replace one). Also tightened up the oil pan.
Did not see any leaking from either cylinder.
May also wind up replacing the gasket at the top of the oil/transmission cover.
Is the leak trans fluid (sulfur smell) or regular oil (primary leak)? Will help to narrow things down.
could also buy some oil dye from those chain auto parts stores to determine which one is leaking.

I guess that is your next step, checking gaskets and lines. Clean it all up and try foot powder spray to see where leak is originating.
Had the starter seal drive me crazy like that once.
