Started doing that when they went to the head breather systems on the evo's, shovels & pans would just puke a couple quarts on the floor in 10 seconds or so.
It has to be really full.. but yeah, head breathers are worse..
The guy who you're talking about is known here in the forums for disseminating very inaccurate technical advice about things he doesn't have a clue about. Bad advice is much more harmful than no advice. Some folks seem to know a little about everything, but not enough to be of any good. If someone here is giving out bad advice, they need to be called out for it, and not be defended.
How do you make it through real life? I bet you sit in the corner waiting for wife to finish talking.
I just wanted to point out, while you had your nose up Ohama kiester he add nothing to content of this thread. He didn't address anything, did not try to help. Atleast the guy who upset you was trying to help. Have you added anything of meaning to this thread?
I've met both the gents in this, might want to back up and regroup a bit. Your constant bloviating in every thread is noise you make to just hear yourself and from what I've seen of the rare tech content you offer you've maybe had a bike you've played with lightly, you have zero depth. Back off and quit with the constant aloof keyboard commando gambit, you come off as a total assclown.
Newbs beware. You're getting free advice, priced accordingly. Before you go off and butcher something, take a moment and scan the activity of the user who's advice you are following. No guarantee, but hopefully you get a sense of how much you can trust him.
This advice should be a sticky at the top of every tech section of the Fourm.
If you woke up this morning, and you need someone to tell you not everyone you meet knows what they are talking about, or have the ability to figure it out. You got problems. And in this case all that was needed was to to say, on evos, it is not that way.

Crank seal leak or stator screws fall out allowing crankcase pressure to push oil into the primary when running and bleed back into the crankcase will setting. If someone already said this I apologize, stupid was strong in this thread and stopped reading it.

Okay, All the advice is much appreciated. Yes the spacer on my EVO has a lip and can't be turned around so I will replace it along with the seal. That plastic piece next to the stator on my bike was being held by sheet metal screws. Really? I tried to put 6-24 machine screws in but the threads are pretty much gone. I reinstalled it with the sheet metal screws and some sealant. The screws tightened down okay so I think it will be fine. The main bearing looks fine and there is no discernable play in it. I don't see any cracks either. I'll put it all back together and if the problem persists I'll look at replacing the oil pump. I wish I had a nickel for every rabbit hole I've gone down with this bike. I bought it as a project and overall it's been kinda fun.
