There should be a bulb wire connector with white, yellow and brown- may be black. That's the ground wire.
Take the dash off. Remove cable from the speedometer. Using a #0 phillips with at least 1.75 long shank, remove the odometer reset ****. Remove 2, 1/4-20 screws from the rear edge. Lift up at the rear, should slide back, up and off. Disconnect terminal block.
Look on the left fork at the air tubing assembly and you'll see an aluminum block. It'll have a terminal strip with male spade connectors. One wire is the anti-dive valve ground and the others are the grounds going to everything up front. They come from under the seat, left side frame just below and behind the master cylinder reservoir screws. I'd wager one of those spots will be the problem.
