Hi~
While I've ridden evoes more than 10 years except for shovelhead , I find myself not knowing motorcycle structures.
This is one of them.
What is this for which is inside red circle?.
Thanks for answer in advance.
Thats a throttle friction screw.
Used for engine warm up or cruise, tighten just enough to hold the throttle position. You can force throttle closed while going down the road if need be, but usually loosened with your thumb
If someones been into the controls thats not familiar with it, plenty times the friction pad inside is knocked out of position and it wont work right.
Haven't touched it in 10 years, so just leave it alone. It doesn't hold cruise well, and thumbing it to slow down can be hazardous. Ask me how I know? LOL...
Where in S. Korea? I was with 2nd Brigade Combat Team at Camp Hovey in mid-90s. We still had a battalion up near the DMZ. Fun times looking back.
